Ladies, it’s your turn!

Women have been neglected in research on Heart Disease for far too long. We know very little about you! Now is the time to take the bull by the horns!

We are looking for women between the ages of 45 and 80 who have had a myocardial infarction as well as women who have never had one.

This research study will investigate risk factors through the completion of a 15-minute online questionnaire.

Participants will be deemed ineligible to participate if they: Have (or had) a problem with substance abuse, have suffered from a neurological or psychiatric disorder, or have been diagnosed with dementia.

1 in 50 will have a chance to win a 50$ prepaid gift card (Canadian dollar)

At the end of the survey, if interested, you will be invited to participate in a lab study looking at the cognitive and emotional impact of a myocardial infarction. A 3-hour Neuropsychological Assessment will be administered. The study will take place at the University of Ottawa.
