Women’s Heart Health Community Advocate e-Course and Toolkit

The Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute is pleased to announce the launch of the Women’s Heart Health Community Advocate e-Course and Toolkit which is sponsored by the Patient Alumni.

The Community Advocate e-Course provides the necessary training to enable women with lived experience, men, caregivers and individuals passionate about women’s heart health to deliver heart health education within their local communities, and even in their homes. Learners must successfully complete this course to gain access to the Community Advocate Online Toolkit which provides access to the speaker kit, resources and guidelines to support our advocates in organizing community events. Visit the “Become a Community Advocate” page at yourheart.ca for more details on advocacy, course contents, and registration.

We hope that you would like to be a part of this great program to spread the word of women’s heart health.
